PATAKA has five main galleries with over 45  exhibitions annually.  Enjoy a coffee at the cafe while relaxing beside our Japanese garden or let us tempt you with a gift from our New Zealand craft shop.

PATAKA is part of an integrated facility that includes the  city's  public library and the adjoining Te Rauparaha Arena, fitness gyms, swimming pools, and skateboard park.

'I think this is the absolutely BEST gallery in Aotearoa. Everytime I come home for a visit, coming here is on the top of my list of things to do. Every exhibition is amazing!!' Kia ora. Karen (Wellingtonian stranded in Auckland)
